I got really carried away creating this card and didn’t want to stop adding. I had fun making it using Heartfelt Creations Petunia Collection and their Fold out cards.
A card I made using Heartfelt Creations Classic Classic Petunia Collection.
I came across Foamiran flowers accidentally while on Pinterest . It is a thin foam like sheet which you cut out a flower using one of the flowers dies or you can your petals by hand. Heat it with an iron or heat gun then roll between your fingers. I loved the way they came out on a card using the Botanical Rose die from Heartfelt Creations. The butterfly and Paper are all from Heartfelt Creation Botanical Rose Collection.
I love the Petunia and it is one of my favourite flowers to plant in my garden. Once again Heartfelt Creations has done an amazing job of creating this beautiful flower as a stamp and die.The above card I created using The Classic Petunia Collection. The flowers and leaves I coloured with Memento Inks in Lilac posies, Angel Pink, Bamboo Leaves and New Sprout. I added some sparkle to the flowers with a sparkle pen and I used Rajni Chawlas Crystal Clear on the humming bird.
Thank you for visiting. Hope you enjoyed my card I created.
So lovely to be back home and to be able to get back into my Craft room. Two cards I wanted to share using Tim Holtz distress ink to colour my images.
The card above I used Spectrum Noir sparkle pen for some sparkle and Prima Micro Beads in Copper. The die is Heartfelt Creations Decorative Oval die. (One of my favourite dies)
The card below is the same except done in pink tones. I added some sparkle with Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen. I also coloured an extra image and fussy cut the two big flowers joined together and popped it on top with pop dots.
I wanted to share this Shaker card I have just completed. The bird-cage is a Tim Holtz die which I distressed with Tim Holtz distress embossing powder. The parrot, foliage and plumeria flowers are from Heartfelt Creations Tropical Paradise collection. The background paper is from HF Under The Sea paper pad. I embellished the middle of the flowers with prills and added Rajni Chawlas crystal clear sparkle made by Papericious to the parrots beak, flowers and leaves for some sparkle.
I spent the week in hibernation in my craft room engrossed in these beautiful, colourful papers, stamps and dies. I loved the tropical vibe with this collection.
Heartfelt Creations super cute Monkeying Around Collection made it very easy for me to create this adorable scrapbooking layout of the special little man in my life.
Today I wanted to share a mixed media canvas I created. I had purchased the wooded door /porch from one of the craft stores and adhered it to a canvas. I used a brick stencil and moulding paste to create the bricks, glued some drywall tape down here and there for some texture. Primed the whole canvas with gesso. Allow to dry then dry brushed with paint. I distressed the door with a scratch tool. Dry brush a little more gesso for some hi lights. Allow to dry then I used inka gold in blue and green for shadows. Die cut your window and distress the window, bicycle, door handle and gate with paint, adhere to canvas. The couple in the window is from the Graphic 45 Mon Amour collection. I also used a piece of acetate on the window. The wreath and trees on the porch are from Tim Holtz which I sprayed with Tattered Angels glimmer mist in key lime pie. The Lily’s are from Heartfelt Creations Sunrise Lily collection. The tiny flowers on window, gate are from the Flowering Dogwood collection. The bird bath, wheelbarrow and grass are from the Wildwood Cottage collection. Critters and birds are from the Woodsy Wonderland collection.
Hope this inspires you to get creative and let your imagination run wild.
Heartfelt Creations lastest collection “Monkeying Around” is to adorable for words. I adore these little guys. They remind me of home in South Africa, when they used to visit my garden. They were very mischievous and steal food from my kitchen.
